Consider, when was the last time you had an awe-inspiring moment? Transcendent moments of AWE change how we experience life and the world. Our AWEgust Challenge starts 8/1! This month-long challenge is devoted to helping you discover a new way to view the daily awe-ventures you encounter.
Change your perspective, change your life!
How it Works:
1. GET INSPIRED: Every week in August, I will publish a new awe-inspiring challenge prompt for you to focus on. Then, the rest is up to you!
2.GO AWE-SEEKING DAILY: Pause to notice something awe-inspiring daily and take it all in. You will be amazed at what you have never truly seen before.
3. SHARE: It’s as simple as taking a picture or video of something that awe-mazes you that day. Research shows that even looking at pictures of awe changes one’s happiness- so spread the joy to others by sharing pictures of your daily awe experience. Share your pictures and videos of your awe-inspiring moment by commenting below, posting to Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and be sure to tag #AWEgustChallenge and me for a chance to be featured on the blog! 4. REFLECT: The ability to be awed requires changing our mental models to incorporate new perspectives, so it’s important to reflect on your experience.
5. REPEAT: Awe happens every day. We simply need to train ourselves to notice it. If you do this challenge every day for the month of August, soon all the world around you will be filled with wonder and gratitude.
